Summer Programs

RAP Camp: If you are between the ages of 13-18 AND  If you are looking for a great  supper camp affording you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, make new friends, participate in hands on natural resource activities, take a field trip to Crater lake and more - RAP Camp is just the ticket!  Hosted by the US Dept Bureau of Land Management - Camp is held June 11 to 17 at Camp Esther Applegate - located at Lake of the Woods, OR. Cost is $225 but scholarships are available.  Applications are due May 5 and can be found here


Stanford University  Pre-collegiate studies. Programs offer highly motivated, intellectually curious students the opportunity to investigate topics not typically taught in secondary schools.  9 different areas of focus.  Click here to find a program that is right for you.


College OPTIONS  Summer Program List and Scholarship:  Deadline March 27, 2017.  This is open to 9-11 graders to attend academic enrichment (pre-college) programs on college campuses throughout the US.  Here is a list of sample programs - others may qualify.  Program guidelines and application found here.


UC Davis 2017 Young Scholars Program - Summer residential research program.  June 25 thru August 5. 40 openings. Rising Jr.'s and Sr.'s to participate in a variety of research experiences within the areas of biology and natural sciences - 6 week long. Application deadline March16, 2017 $25 application fee.
