SUHSD Superintendent Search-Your Voice Matters

Hello Parents, Students, Community Members and Staff,

I hope this message finds you well. As we continue our efforts to ensure the continued success and growth of our school district, I would like to invite you to attend an important meeting regarding the search for a new superintendent. We have had two previous meetings to gather as much information as possible, but we want to hear from those of you who could not make it to the original meetings.

As you know, selecting the right candidate for this vital position is crucial for the future of our school community in every individual town in which we have a High School that provides educational services to the youth within. Your input and insights are invaluable in this process, and your participation in this meeting will play a significant role in shaping the direction of our district.

The meeting will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 6:00 pm via zoom at the following link:

Bill Hewitt, the consultant from McPherson & Jacobson will be conducting this meeting. You will be asked key questions he has prepared that revolve around what is great about our district, what challenges we tend to face, and the qualities and attributes we would like to see in a new superintendent. As this is not a board meeting, Bill will compile all of the responses and information and present it to the board at the April 17, 2024 board meeting.

Your attendance and active participation will greatly contribute to the success of this endeavor. Please make every effort to attend, as your input is highly valued and appreciated.
